오리엔탈 레지던스 방콕호텔은 방콕대표호텔중 하나인 만다린오리엔탈호텔과 같은 계열의 5성급 호텔입니다. 레지던스 즉 서비스아파트 형태의 호텔로 룸에 가치를 두는 호텔입니다. 룸에는 거실과 주방을 갖추고 있어 장기거주자, 비즈니스여행, 가족여행에 이상적인 환경을 제공합니다. 그러나, 레지던스 호텔들은 시설,조식에 관한한 동급호텔대비 떨어지는 특성이 있습니다. 호텔시설,조식에 가치를 둔다면 추천하기는 어렵습니다. 다만 오리엔탈 레지던스호텔은 조식이 비교적 훌륭하므로 조식은 무난하다고 볼 수 있습니다. 오리엔탈 레지던스 방콕호텔 장점은 위치,룸, 서비스,뷰입니다. 위치는 이상적입니다, 방콕 대사관거리인 와이어리스도로변에 위치해 주변에 대사관이 많습니다. 미국,일본, 네덜란드 대사관등이 위치하므로 치안이 비교적 좋고, 거리가 깨끗합니다. 대사관이 많은 탓에 숲세권입니다. 센트럴 엠버시 쇼핑몰, 플런칫 지상철역, 그리고 룸피니공원이 인근에 위치해 식사,쇼핑,휴식에 좋습니다. 인근 플라자아테네 럭셔리컬렉션 호텔은 오후 6시 이후에 가면 베이커리가 50%할인입니다. 센트럴엠버시 지하는 이타이라는 방콕에서 가장 고급스러운 푸드코트가 위치합니다. 플런칫역을 이용하면 방콕 주요 지역을 어렵지 않게 갈 수 있습니다. 길건너에는 올시즌플레이스 식당가가 위치해 은행, 맛집,음료를 즐길 수 있고 옆으로는 신돈 글라스 식당가가 위치해 스타벅스, 일식당,태국식당등을 즐기기에 좋습니다. 방콕맛집거리인 랑수언도 신돈글라스 건물을 통과해 미국 대사관 뒷길을 이용하면 신돈 켐핀스키 호텔 입구 골목길, 크레페앤 코 골목길 두곳을 이용해 쉽게 접근 가능합니다.

서비스가 친절하고 묵기 편했습니다.수영장은 손님이 많이 이용하지 않아 사용하기 편했다 내부 방도 매우 깨끗하게 유지되고 있었고 사용하는데 불편함이 없었다.다만 한국인 기준으로 조식은 그닥 추천하고 싶지 않았다

호텔 서비스&친절합니다. 위치가 대사관 건너편이라 조용하고 안전하며 근처에 룸피니공원도 있어요. 호텔룸에 들어가서 침대에 앉는 순간 구름에 떠있는 느낌으로 푹신해요❤️ 침구도 부드럽고 소리 안난답니다. 4층 수영장은 아침에 이용했는데 사람도 많지 않고 조용해요~ 16층 시티뷰 멋져요. 벨보이 분들이 있어서 택시타고 호텔에서 내릴때 편리하고 그랩택시 콜부르면 목적지를 택시기사님에게 다시 말해주시는데 왠지 믿음이가고 안심이 되더라구요.호텔에서 불러 주는 택시타고 시암파라곤 갔는데 그랩택시나 호텔로 돌아가는 택시비용 보다 저렴했어요.개인적으로 아쉬운건 루프탑바&야경감상할 수 있는 바가 없어요😭
